We have been mediating between climate research and society since 2007, providing scientific information on climate and regional climate change to the media, public organizations, and decision-makers from business and politics.

In dialogue with society, we identify information needs and pass them on to research institutions. In doing so, we draw on the expertise of the Institute for Meteorology and Climate Research and the KIT Climate and Environment Center as well as other institutions at KIT and in southern Germany. Furthermore, we initiate cooperations with other scientific disciplines as well as inter- and transdisciplinary projects.
